At Honda of Grays Harbor, we know that many drivers are looking for greener vehicles these days. We already offer some impressive options, but we’re happy to announce that you could soon have one more model to choose from; the Honda Fit EV will return in 2020, combining the latest green car tech with the style and unique capabilities of this hatchback.

If you’ve seen the 2019 Honda Fit in action, you know that it has a lot to offer. It’s got a distinctive look, multiple cargo modes, and it even comes outfitted with advanced safety tech. An electric version would keep everything you love about the Honda Fit, while making it greener than ever.

The Honda Fit EV would launch in China first. This electric Honda car would improve on its predecessor in some big ways. The previous Honda Fit EV, released in 2011, could produce 123 horsepower and travel eighty-two miles on a single charge. That range may have been impressive back then, but electric cars have made great strides in recent years. A new Honda Fit EV could have a range of more than 180 miles.

You can also expect faster charging technology, since a longer charging time is one thing that held back the original Honda Fit EV. The Honda brand is hoping to sell more than 100,000 units per year, so you know that some serious work is going into this green hatchback. We can’t wait to see what Honda engineers come up with, and we hope to learn more about an American release soon!

So if you’re looking for the latest green car tech, make our Olympia Honda dealership your first stop. We’ll help you find a new car that fits your budget and driving needs, while reducing your carbon footprint. We hope to see you soon!
