The warranty that comes with every Certified Pre-Owned Honda car is powertrain coverage, which lasts for seven years or 100,000 miles. This means that if you keep up with maintenance and use the car as it’s intended, you are covered in the event of an unexpected failure.
Some drivers worry about the dependability of their pre-owned vehicles, so a warranty like this will help you feel confident with your ride. Not only are you getting a model that has been thoroughly inspected and met Honda’s highest standards, but you also have a backup in case something does end up going wrong.
Other Types of Warranty Coverage
That seven-year warranty isn’t the only coverage available for Certified Pre-Owned Honda cars. If the original New Vehicle Limited Warranty is still in effect, you’re protected by that as well. This coverage lasts four years or 48,000 miles from when your car leaves our lot.
You can also purchase additional coverage if that new vehicle warranty has expired. For example, the Honda Certified Vehicle Non-Powertrain Coverage lasts for one year or 12,000 miles from the delivery date.
