The first change that you’ll notice in the four-door, five-passenger sedan is that it received a slightly longer wheelbase and is a little bit wider. This means that there’s more interior room for passengers and cargo. The new, more spacious cabin was designed to provide a more luxurious experience, with additions of soft-touch and premium materials and a new user interface. In terms of technology, the 2018 Honda Accord comes with a 7- or 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto®, Apple CarPlay®, near-field Bluetooth® phone pairing, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a speaker system with up to 10 speakers.
All six trims — LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Touring — of the 2018 Honda Accord come standard with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that cranks out 192 horsepower and 192 lb.-ft. of torque. New for 2018 is the optional turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that gets 252 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque. Additionally, a redesigned hybrid powertrain will be available on five of the trims.
